GREENE TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY HAS GREASE CONTAINERS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS
We need your help!
Do not put grease down your drains.
By putting grease down the drains, the grease will harden and could create a block in your line or in the main line.
We will provide you with a FREE grease container for your residence along with disposable bags in which to put the grease.
This container can be picked up at our office on Sunset Pike.
WHAT CAN NOT BE PUT INTO THE SEWER LINES:
- Surface water
- Roof drains
- Sump pump discharge
- Basement drains
- Underground drainage fields
- Condensation lines of discharge from heat pumps or air conditioners
The sewers are intended for domestic type waste only.
EXAMPLES ARE:
- Bath room sinks
- Showers
- Bath Tubs
- Commodes
- Kitchen Sinks
- Dishwashers
- Clothes Washers
